Independent peer review needs to be funded by people who care about it. ICSAC is funded directly by readers, researchers, and supporters who think rigorous, accessible peer review is worth keeping alive outside the gatekept circuit. Donations keep the lights on without author-paid APCs, editorial-influence strings, or paywall revenue.

Make a one-time donation

Anyone can contribute any amount between $5 and $999.99. No benefits or recognition attached — just direct support of operations.

Where the money goes

ICSAC is in a controlled-burn, pre-revenue phase. Donations fund infrastructure (Cloudflare, compute for the AI panel, Zenodo DOI deposits, domain renewals) and editorial honoraria for Curation Advisors and human Reviewers when the load justifies it.

Nothing is being aspirationally over-promised: there is no salaried staff, no office, no advertising budget. When the Institute can afford to pay reviewers more, it will, and that change will be visible here.
